In 2018, Gjergjaj participated in the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), focusing on “Reporting on Religion” in the United States. That same year, he also attended the “Journalism and Review of Judicial Processes” seminar, organized by the Kosovo Specialist Chambers and Specialist Prosecutor’s Office at the International Nuremberg Principles Academy in Nuremberg, Germany. As Chairman of the Press Council, his term is one year long.
