Call for Applications / School of Journalism Ethics

The Press Council of Kosovo (PCK), in collaboration with the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, is organizing the School of Journalism Ethics for journalism students, young journalists, and other interested individuals.

 

The school will take place from 28 to 30 April 2026, in Prishtinë/Priština and will include lectures and interactive sessions delivered by renowned journalists and media experts.

The programme will be conducted in Albanian.

Lunch will be provided on all three days.

 

Requirements

 

Candidates must meet the following criteria to participate in the school:

  • Be a student of journalism, a young journalist, or a student from another field with an interest in journalism. Applicants should be between 18 and 30 years old. Participation from non-majority communities across Kosovo is strongly encouraged, and the selection process will ensure gender-inclusive participation.
  • Have a genuine interest in current topics and issues related to journalism ethics.

 

During the school, participants will work in groups to produce stories on specific topics. These stories will be presented at the end of the school, and the best story will be awarded a symbolic prize.

  • Experience: Work, internships, or volunteer activities related to journalism/media
  • Journalism Interest: Highlight activities, projects, or articles showing interest in journalism ethics and current media issues
  • Skills & Languages: Relevant skills and language proficiency

 

Application Deadline: 21 April, 2026.
